Step 2: Submit First and final Drafts
Use Turnitin.com when you are ready to submit your first draft for your teacher to give you feedback. You will also submit a final copy after revision and editing takes place. Please note that Turnitin.com is a plagiarism checker and will alert your teachers of any plagiarism in your papers.
Many of your teachers will require you to sign and attach the Honor Code with every major assignment you submit. The Honor Code attests that you made every effort to avoid plagiarism, and that you understand that plagiarism and cheating can lead to serious academic and disciplinary consequences at South Western High School. Students who plagiarize will be required to serve detention AND do one of the following as deemed appropriate by the 9th Grade Composition Team:
1. Re-write and resubmit the original assignment. 2. Write and submit an assignment of equal value. If your paper can't be downloaded from Google Docs, please try the following: 1.
